Leo Kottke is an acoustic finger picking virtuoso. He still tours regularly and played in Fresno last year at the Tower Theatre. He is known for his strong and hard driving rhythmic right-hand technique.

Here you see his innovative slide playing on 12-string guitar. He typically tunes his 12-string guitar to an open chord so, laying his fingers or slide straight across the strings gives him an automatic major chord. (Notice how he didn't even get too distracted when a person blew smoke in his face about half way through the song,..ha, ha)
